Plane ignores incoming flak and AA fire

Recommended Posts

I'm kind of out of ideas for this one, tl;dr I have a mass paradrop taking place.

The troops eject perfectly, however the planes always break right as soon as the flak starts laying into them.

So far I've tried disableAI "target" and "autotarget"

setCombatMode "blue", setBehaviour "careless"

my waypoints are set to careless and neverfire. skill level of each plane is at zero.

I've also tried setting every single gun to setCaptive "true" so that the planes would ignore them, still didn't work. How else can I make my planes ignore incoming fire and maintain their heading?

Doesn't that script still require that I have AA guns placed on the map? My problem is that the planes detect the fact that they're being shot at, and evade.

How are your planes detecting they are being shot at if you don't already have AA guns placed on the map??

I've had the same problem. AI think for themselves, I never found a way to turn off their fear, lol.

as of this moment witouth beta patch, you cannot turn of the danger.fsm of AI, wich means that either you need to fake it, or forget it.

the thread aF2k sel posted have alot of info and leads to another thread with all kinds of testings and workarounds tried.
