.Taffy 10 Posted July 11, 2011 Whilst there may not be a lot of information on the updated website yet, I was wondering what you make of the background image? http://www.carriercommand.com/ In the top left hand corner there is a 'UCC' space ship in orbit around a planet (presumably Gaea). It's clearly artwork but is it there because that orbiter plays a role in game? Is it to hint at a role an orbiter could play on release or in future? Or is it just artwork to make the front page a little more interesting and exciting?
bfcrusader 10 Posted July 11, 2011 It may be the vessel responsible for providing the radar/map for all we know.
Johny 25 Posted July 12, 2011 Hi, I am sorry to be a bearer of bad news but the space ship is just part of the story/artwork. There will be no combat above atmosphere in CCGM.
bfcrusader 10 Posted July 12, 2011 I figured as much, it has to be the vessel that brought the carrier to the planet, am I right? In the story, is it responsible for the radar/map?
.Taffy 10 Posted July 12, 2011 Not a major dissapointment really, just interested. The game is already impressively ambitious. Thanks for the reply Johny!
