[SP & MP] • Hunting Akbar Hoto! •

hello guys, first, fyi, this is my first MP mission! You are tasked hunting the most trusted Col.Aziz's right hand commander, Akbar Hoto under heavy fire the invasion of Zargabad during the arrowhead operation.



Please share any of your experience of this mission after playing. I really need feedback to improve myself :p

SCREENSHOT

DESCRIPTION

Take a role in a most-thrilling hunting for the most wanted enemy commander during the invasion of zargabad in the event of operation arrowhead. Play as a normal infantry grunt! who will be led by your squad leader, or play it coop with your friends in multiplayer.

FEATURES



*note : there are (big) differences mission design between SP & MP version, just for your info.

SP mode

  • Be a small part during the large scale assault of operation arrowhead
  • Interesting Intro & Outro
  • AI controlled team leader
  • The completition of an objective not always depend on your squad
  • Reinforcements all over the corner!
  • Combined tactics between two squad and an IFV
  • Ruined Zargabad by bombardment script
  • Nice atmosphere



MP mode

  • A thrilling CQB, hunting Akbar Hoto inside the tall buildings
  • Reinforcement! But not so many.
  • Selecting weapon before go to objectives
  • Ruined Zargabad by bombardment script
  • Nice atmosphere
  • Using =NAG= coop mission template & scripts

Congrats, playing in SP Great work.

MISSION UPDATED! less bug for sure :)

-better AI waypoints for your squad leader

-less stuck condition when AI won't move

hey,

just played the MPversion of it and what i srsly dislike is having no MG´s nor AT available at ammo crates

Maybe you intended to keep it like that,but it rly makes me furious having no surpressive fire (by AI or Player) when attacking a stronghold - must of been some kind of mental thing :D

Also i would of like to have (when playing as first on a server) the possibilty of not having all my Team (AI) spawn with me,i know you can disable AI in the lobby - but it may have a work out on JIP players too

Is the MPversion updated to 1.1 too?

Loved the atmosphere

aha nice found, I don't know why I always miss weaponry stuff when making missions. I think it's bcos the numbers of enemy too. Maybe i should decrease the numbers or the skill of enemy, just played it again, and it was so damn hard lol. :eek: Hmm.. that AI JIP thing... I still have limited knowledge of MP scripting, but I'll try it for sure. Yes there will be v.1.1, I planning it to balance the mission more and more debugging. will working it out soon.

Hmm.. that AI JIP thing... I still have limited knowledge of MP scripting, but I'll try it for sure

guess if you edit each unit with this setting:

player="PLAY CDG";

lock="UNLOCKED";

in the editor the AI units wont be spawning with you when ustart the mission,but once more players connect they spawn as the correct units under your ranking

Well,im to undrunk to explain it more properly but i guess you get the point

I mean,if i want to command 10 soldiers on mission start i´ll play SPmissions

Also no need to mention me in credits,i did nothing important :D

ok i get it. Thanks for hints! Just implemented the 6th sense MP guide JIP script (and couple of clay's chernarus apocalypse script) into the mission, everything's fine, but still wanna make sure that the mission will goes well. Will release it soon, after more and more testing. Nah, you helped me to found some important fail and tell me JIP term. (I did'nt even know what JIP stand for before you posted here), while I'm alone too lazy to always re-check my finished mission and rarely anyone give some feedback to improve me. Anyway, it is my first MP mission, so it's just like 'walking before running' mission lol. :D

MP MISSION UPDATED! major changes :)

v.1.1

-Join In Progress (JIP) player supported

-No more commanding AI

-Balanced enemies number

-Better revive and respawn script

-Removed mobile respawn

-Added limited MG & AT ammo inside ammo box (thx to TheScar)

-Added role description

-Fixed stupid helo insertion AI
