Question about arma 2 and CO on steam

I'm not sure if this is the right fourm to place this in but I was wondering. On steam I already own Arma 2 and was thinking about getting CO off of steam, that's where my question comes in. Since I already own Arma 2 and Co comes with another copy of Arma 2, will I be able to receive that extra copy and able to send it to a friend? (the copy from CO) Or would I just be sol on the extra copy?

I'd say give the original copy to your friend, as I'm unsure if you'd be able to send the Steam copy to your friend, unless you are particularly attached to it or it was a sprocket purchase.

Well, I mean I already have Arma 2 installed which I got off of steam. I was wondering if i could "gift" the one from CO to a friend.

Ah, nevermind. After I took another look at it I wouldn't not of gotten the extra copy. Please disregard this thread.
