Question: Can helicopters be armed?

I know that Take On Helicopters is mainly aimed to be a civilian helicopter sim but since it's based on ArmA and since in ArmA helicopters can be armed I'm asking here if for example a helicopter in Take On Helicopters can be equiped with weapons such as door mounted machine guns?

This would definitly give Take On Helicopters a much wider variaty of missions specially for the South Asia map/scenario which if I'm not mistaken would include warzones or "hotspots" (since it includes Chernarus and other "problematic" regions in the "Armaverse").

The devs have long confirmed that there will be three different types of combat helicopter in the game... I think it's safe to assume that they will come with some form of pew pew.

Ok thanks for the pic. I do have another questions:

- Will those weapons work?

- Will it be possible to have enemies (like for example, armed men) that fire at the player's helicopter that could cause damage to the helicopter and even shot it down?

I can't see why not since all this stuff is already doable with the engine (and present in ArmA 2).

In fact i've just spent the last half an hour mowing down Takistani regulars in my M230 cannon and S-5 rocket-equipped Light Special. Took a bit of fire too.
