Any way to change a vehicle's actual displayed name ingame?

For example, when you look at a vehicle it will tell you the type of vehicle you're looking at, any way to change that string? So if I look at a heli instead of it saying what helicopter it is I can name that specific helicopter and that specific helicopter only to something like "Higgens" and have it show up under the reticle. Also, will this name change, if even possible, carry over multiplayer?

Finally, can I name people in this manner as well, including civilians who have no actual names.

Maybe setVehicleVarName might be what you're after. Never used it myself so not a hundred percent sure of what mileage you will get.

No. I believe what you're looking at is displayname. You can only change that with a mod.
