Spaehling 10 Posted June 17, 2011 Hello Guys and Girls, since a week iam try to make my own arma 2 addon. i got many problems, but the most of them are gone, with the time :D but some problems are still here. my main problem is, that i want to sit the driver different then normal. I found some tutorials and i figured out that at P:\ca\ the driver.p3d is missing. i still got no temp folder or a proxies folder... could someone help me and/or explain me how to get a driver.p3d?? I've got Arma 2 over steam, but i don't think this is important. the ARMA_SampleVehiclesWeapons / Envoirment and Animals Pack i downloaded, too......but no driver p3d :( greetz Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
[aps]gnat 28 Posted June 17, 2011 Hi Spaehling, Welcome There is no driver.p3d but your problem is the same as mine. I've lived with that error for years, but now I want to improve my modeling. There are a few "half" tutorials or explanations on how to get a proper representation of a driver, pilot, crew or gunner into a O2 Buldozer preview, but none I've managed to get to work. I was trying to save a thread and posted in HERE but I didn't get a conclusive answer. We would appreciate a full tut on how to set this up. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Spaehling 10 Posted June 17, 2011 (edited) Hi Gnat, yeah iam not alone :) i tried some tutorials, too, without any result. Let's try to stay tuned and we hope that we can find a solution. If someone would explain it to us, we need to write our own tutorial :D edit: i read your post and i can tell you.... same problem here! Spaehling 10 Posted June 17, 2011 (edited) okay hm that means for us? i think i installed 2.5.1..... but maybe it's still on 2.5. i check it. ---------- Post added at 05:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:52 PM ---------- how you import the rtm file? when i open it O2 only says "Unable to load file. Load error." maybe i got a wron rtm file or i make something wrong. i installed 2.5.1 before and restart my computer. Edit: i found this post (http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=65707, and i understand how to load the rtm file into a model. but i got still the problem with the driver and proxy.
