Hanzu 10 Posted May 30, 2011 (edited) There are two misplaced units in Manhattan mission and for CIT report I need to know what unit it is (too much work to swim there to get a visual) this marker? It's like infantry marker but two dots over it instead of one. Edited June 1, 2011 by Hanzu

tom3kb 15 Posted May 30, 2011 I dont think that in army someone will make marker for one soldier mayby for a sniper team-2 men or a small recon section or somthing like that i will check this later ---------- Post added at 11:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:14 AM ---------- Ps: 1 dot - patrol, crew, fire team 2 dots - squad, section. 3 dots -plutoon. For more info you may check Nato military symbols or somthing like that :) you can find that easy in google
Hanzu 10 Posted May 30, 2011 Yes not in army but in Arma it seems that infantry marker with one dot can really be just one man. As seen in this picture. Thanks for the tip tom3kb! Looks like Google keywords "nato unit symbols" gave best results. So according to this source I can verify it is: Squad = 1 dot Section = 2 dots Platoon/Detachment = 3 dots

Thanks Paladin, actually I have used it as much that I have really read it from cover to cover and Operation Arrowhead manual too, but it was almost a year ago and now that I look it there is indeed a good table for those under section: Strategic Command -> High Command
