System freezes ingame

While playing Arma 2 my system randomly freezes and cant do anything. I have to hard restart my computer using restart button. This problem is very annoying and I don't know what to do to solve it. It could happen 2 minutes in game or 30 min in game. Its happened up to 5 times today and I cant even play the game because of the frustration. Someone please help!!! Thanks for anyone that give me a solution.

Ok i dont know much about windows errors and such but this link helped me with stuttering and freezes with other games too.

Basically write down the options that apply to you and test them out. i got pretty good results with solving stutters and freezes.

I dont think its overheating my fan speed is up to 100% and i use speedfan to tell me the heat of my parts.
