Multiplayer: Blank Muliplayer Setup Screen

Recommended Posts

Good evening fellow ARMA 2 lovers,

I'm currently running ARMA 2, Arrowhead, BAF and PMC DLC from Steam. Since yesterday I've been having trouble with a few bugs while entering a a Multiplayer game.

Run Steam as Administrator,

Run ARMA 2 CO,

Select "Multiplayer",

Select Server,

Select "Ok"

This will eventually time out and give me a message: "Bad CD Key".

I've tried:

- Both Verifying the integrity of the game files both in admin mode and without.

- Re-installing all 4 games.

- Installing all 4 games on my laptop then overwriting the user files. (This worked for one attempt but then replicated itself on the second and every attempt thereafter)

- Re-installing BattlEye.

- Forwarding the Ports. (again)

- Re-configuring my router.

- Turning all trace of a firewall off on my desktop including the router.

I could launch on the laptop, so I don't understand what's going on with my desktop?

I've tried every suggestion on other threads, so apologies for bringing it up again. I'd really appreciate any kind of help on this issue.

Thanks for reading,

Jai

Additional Info:

When I right click on Arrowhead in my Steam Library and select "Re-install BattlEye" I got two identical messages: ***MISSING STRING***

It's probably unrelated but I'm trying to provide as much information as possible.

Thanks again,

Jai

I think its a problem with new keys (from STEAM/amazon) atm.

Search for the last posts of Dwarden. He explained it.

This won't be the case here. I've had the game working for over a year now and never had any of these issues.

I have this problem off and on using a dlink router. Turning off and on my DMZ Host seems to fix it for some reason not sure why, but messing around with that seems to get it working again

Perfect, how could I have overlooked that?

Putting my IP back in the DMZ of my router and re-installing BattlEye WORKED! :yay:

It seems installing BattlEye while your IP is outside of the list of firewalls causes an issue.

Decap, if I could shake your hand... I'd still be doing it now! Thank you for pointing that out!

Jai
