Arma CO crash on startup

ok i was just playing Arma CO not 30 minutes after this happened so i log off and decide to get back on and it crashes on startup every time i run the steam version of both ArmA 2 And ArmA 2 OA any way to help me?

heed the following:

1.In the future search before you post, as there are threads with topics such as yours already

2.post your computer specs:

Operating system

ram

graphics card

cpu speed

power supply

3. Is your cpu, or grpahics card overheating (what are your temps?)

4. are you running any mods, and which ones?

5. whats your target line

6. post your RPT, which can be located here

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\ArmA 2 OA (if rpt is big then upload it somewhere and link it

7. Is your game patched to the latest version (might be with steam)

Hello, sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I have the same problem, except that I have ArmA 2 non-steam (from Sprocket), and when I try to run only OA, I get a no entry error (got some problem in the bin folder). I will post the specs when I get home (I posted this up now to see from your, or a moderator's reply if I am allowed to post this here).

UPDATE: Nevermind, I just called my brother to get these stuff ready, and he fixed it (addon conflicting error). Remove this post please.

I get a similar problem, I can run ArmA II OA and ArmA II fine, but when i try to run ArmA II CO command prompt pops up, scrolls extremely fast then disappears. I'm running ACE mod on steam. I really need help please.

Its an Ace issue I believe post in the Ace thread, they might know there.
