Question about uniforms in MP

I was online last night and everyone was running around in the std Marine camo, helmet, camelback, etc.

But there was one person sporting a completely different uniform (with a different helmet, not std Kevlar). Sort of a foreign looking yellowish tan 'desert' camo pattern.

My question isn't what nationality he might have been representing but how was he able to change his uniform from 'stock'?

And how was it showing up in my client? I know I haven't d/l'd any other unit addons.

His slot most likely would have been for a unit wearing different garb, probably Czech or German, since they are the vanilla yellowish tan "desert" camo pattern-wearing BLUFOR dudes.

There is no simple way to change uniforms on the fly (read: without scripting), and I doubt the mission you played allowed it.
