well, if you look carefully, you would see that the sizer bars are much more supportive to make them bigger (in gmax), whereas when you try to resize the bars in 3DS, i mean really resize the bars to full size, then it just closes the program. Try it. AND i just downloaded gmax and i found out that it is much better.

Depending on what version of 3dsMax you have, I very much doubt GMAX is better. It is severely limited and is pretty much a shell of 3dsmax. ie the same basic interface but none of the advanced features.

And as I said, you cant render in GMAX! Some of the nicest model shots can be achieved through a render as opposed to just a screenshot of the perspective viewport.

As for the C-130 thing, as long as he recognizes (at the end) that the model isn't his and apologizes to the original owner, then all is fine.

For christ sakes everytime a new good madel has been made somebody has to start a fight by saying the person didn't really make it. Why can't you guys just except that maybe Scorpio is a good modeler and that he made the thing himself. The only reason it might look like the model you guys are claiming he "stole" is because the two models are the same plane. DUH!! When somebody makes an F-16 and somebody else makes one, they are gonna look the same.

Paladin: Thanks, but i didnt "steal" and f-16. I kind of "stole" the screenshot of a c-130 some time ago for a joke, but then apologised to the author. I have to involvment with another f-16 model, i made this one by stratch.

umm...that IS offensive to me. as you are commenting on a picture that looks like my teacher, and then calling it dumb!

Jimbo my avatar is a guy called "Harold Bishop" from an Australian Soap called neighours. If you have ever seen neighbours, youll realise Harold is quite a beast.

Paladin, the reason I or other people are wary of Scorpio mainly comes from the original false claim (ie claiming the C-130 model was made by him) Its easy enough now to say "Oh it was just a joke, I was just messing around." But would he have admitted the C-130 wasnt his if someone hadnt pointed it out?

Now you see there are reasons for scrutinising Scorpio like one or two of us have.

But note that I nor anyone else has accused other modellers of claiming what does not belong to them. (look at eviscerators models, no one has any reason to say that they do not belong to him)

Now, im not going to say anymore on this unless directly approached by one of you.

Im not saying the models are not Scorpions. Im just wary...

And Scorpion, as much as you probably dislike me for saying such things as I have, you only have yourself to blame.

If that one incident hadnt have happened, I would be posting here saying "Great models Scorp! Well done!"

How old are you scorpio?

At first you presented your self decently but every post you seem to drop down a level of maturity, and I'm sorry to say you're just plain have things folding up against you.

At first your introduction was somewhat believable, until the actual items in question were shown.

• You can't pull 7 high polygon models out of your ass like that -- they take time.

• Even if you did create them, over a larger span of time, I would assume you would at least apply texture coordinates before moving onto the next project.

• I must admit, the models presented are very nice...they are. I would assume if you could create such models, you would be somewhat of a "pro" at 3ds Max. I am a 2d/3d developer, and it does not seem rationale to me for a person of "your" modeling capabilities to even consider putting your work in gmax, unless their is a filter that could only be exported by gmax. But, you claim you modeled in 3ds Max, and viewed in gmax...That doesn't add up, you have to be nuts.

I want to believe you, but so far it's not coming together. Hopefully, it all works out and they really are your models...and they'll be put into the game.
