Strange loading screen problem at end of Bitter Chill

Hi there, I am having a very strange problem near the end of the Bitter Chill mission:

I decided to choose to join NAPA and I am at the safe house, after experiencing the problem I looked up a walk through and apparently there is supposed to be a cut scene here involving a phone.

However, right where the cut scene would be I get a fade out(as it should), then it goes to a loading screen. It then stays with the same loading screen for as long as I let it(there is no progress bar and I can't hear the scene in the background). I don't think that this is a crash as I am still able to alt-tab out just fine(unless BIS are even more amazing programmers than I have ever seen before), and its only taking about 33% of CPU.

Just to make sure it was not a missing file or something I did the verify game cache function that steam has and it said that all game files were there, so unless there is a problem with that then that should rule out some possibilities.

My system specs are:

Windows 7 64 bit

AMD Tri-core processor

ATI Radeon m5650

4GB DDR3 1066 RAM

Thanks in advance for any help :), if you need any more info I should be able to provide it.

Oh and I did do quite a few searches, and I could not find anything about this problem here or with a google search, though I'm sorry if I missed something.

Hello,

It could be mission specific problem.

What game are you playing Arma2, or Arma2 OA, or Arma2:CO as in combined Ops?

also anytime you do searches for an issue, search in BIS forums here first, as these are the official forums for all BIS games (OFP & Arma series).

Lastly your problem as I said is possibly missions specifc, I cant say for sure but look for your mission in this forum, and see if anyone else has had the issue,

or problems with the mission in general.

Could also be some Steam-version specific bug variated from above bug.

Try going to CDF lines instead and see if that cutscene works for me it created same above bug too, but then again it is multiplayer only bug and should not happen if you play it alone.

All in all. The developers do not have the time to test every official campaign and mission after each change they make in patches. So it can easily be some new bug too.
