Addons error without running addons?

Recommended Posts

This is the error I am getting when trying to start the game:

"Include file x\cba\addons\main\script_macros_common.hpp not found"

Well I am not running any mods at all in the command line. and it is giving me this error, when I run CBA i can run the game fine. But at this time, I do not want to run any addons.

Why is it giving me this error?

How do I fix this error?

Did you remove the @CBA folder(s) from the root directory?

If so, check the GUIs Expansion menu and if there is an entry for @CBA make sure that is disabled. After restart does the error still occur?

@CBA does not exists in my directory anymore. Yes it is still doing it, the problem is I cannot even start my game. It gives me the error during startup and stops the 'starting up' process.

Yep, sorry, when does the error occur should have been my first question.

You could try editing your *:\*\*\Documents\ArmA 2\*.ArmA2Profile or *.ArmA2OAProfile by removing or commenting out its entry in the class ModLauncherList block, or by deleting the profile altogether and starting from scratch, as a new one should be automatically generated.

Yeah. So I am really stuck on how to fix it.

To make it more clear to more people who post in the near future.

My shortcut: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2\arma2OA.exe"

- Operation arrowhead is on disk

- Arma 2 is on steam

The error "Include file x\cba\addons\main\script_macros_common.hpp not found" comes up on the screen a few seconds after clicking the shortcut on my desktop.

It then closes the game. So it is impossible to even get to the main menu UNLESS I run @CBA. Then the game runs just like it has for the past year...

CBA is not in my Expansion folder, nor is it in my AddOns folder.

Thanks man. Didn't see the bottom part tell after my post. Worked perfectly.

Again, Thank you.
