OPFOR in BLUFOR vehicle and vica versa

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I've noticed that when a OPFOR is sitting in a BLUFOR car, the car is actually stil BLUFOR, so you can't lock him.

I'm making a jet vs jet mission, but now the problem is, is that I want everyone in a F-35b.

But when I put OPFOR guys in a F-35B the BLUFOR guys in the F-35B can't lock them because the vehicle is still BLUFOR. Anyone knows a solution so if a OPFOR sits in a BLUFOR vehicle, the vehicle will turn OPFOR? (So you can lock e.g. the jet)

I hope you guys understand what I try to say.

Thanks in advance :).

That's a feature. ;)

You can't tell from a mile away who sits in a vehicle, can you? A BLUFOR vehicle is considered a BLUFOR vehicle until it's close enough to recognize who is inside. You could even park a tank right in the middle of a group of enemies and then wouldn't notice you unless you open fire on them.

Solution? Not sure but maybe reveal will work.

I tried grouping an F-35 to an EAST rifleman. Although the F-35 that was controlled by the EAST could lock onto a normal F-35, the normal F-35 could NOT lock onto the east-controlled F-35!

Quite strange.

I tried it, but that didn't work for me.

I know it's a feature but I'm just curious if there's option for it ;).

I also tried addrating, so the enemy is seen as "enemy" but still can't lock the jet then :(

addrating negative values will make the unit in question renegade btw...

try commanding the west f-35 to fire at the east with commandfire or dofire or one of those commands. with fireattarget you can decide which weapon the unit will use too.

I haven't found a way for this to work besides making a new config.

I really wish BIS would fix it so that if I'm bluefor in a T-90, T-90 is appearing friendly to Bluefor.

Okay, so I didn't find a real solution for it. But I changed the BLUFOR to Guerillas and put them in the BLUFOR vehicle, then they can lock another BLUFOR :).
