Game crash caused by X-FI Soundblaster

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

Just checking if there is anyone else having this problem with soundblaster that makes arma 2 crash? (no it gets the whole computer to crash)

Got the lates drivers from creative, and it´s just when i enable 'bas boost' 'surround' 'equlizer' and so on...

Don´t know if its only related to Arma because thats the only game i have installer :)

System:

core 2 duo@ 4ghz

4870 x2

4gb ram

Soundblaster Platinum

Win 7

Ok it crashes only when i active the 'X-Fi CMSS-3D' and 'X-Fi Crystalizer'

Is there anyway to get the game running with these options activated?

Is there anyone else manage to get the game work with these options (have searched)?

Its just like going from stereo to mono with the settings off.

I would really appreciated help.

I have no problems with x-fi cmss-3d + x-fi crystalizer both enabled - works perfect.

working fine here also, with all kinds of driver versions across both XP and win7

try reseating the card, or use a different slot
