SAS Capt Sniper 10 Posted February 6, 2011 I currently have ARMA2 OA and i dont seem to have the tac light or the laser working when i press "L" which is the default. I have checked the controls on the options and when i reassign the button to "L" on my keyboard the issue does not resolve. Does anybody have an other solutions to this problem? Thanks
Darkguerilla 10 Posted February 6, 2011 I end up having to aim at the sky and "play" with it. It usually ends up being hit or miss.
maturin 12 Posted February 6, 2011 Essentially the lasers and flashlighs are poorly optimized. I also have to aim at the sky because my GPU and CPU are around minimum requirements. You either need decent framerates or a screen not crowded with 3D objects, not really sure which. Aiming up does work every time, however.
SAS Capt Sniper 10 Posted February 8, 2011 Sweet thanks lads Point the gun to the sky and it works..............WHY did the programmers not see this glitch. Patch required please !
maturin 12 Posted February 8, 2011 Point the gun to the sky and it works..............WHY did the programmers not see this glitch. Because they play and test on powerful computers perfectly configured to run the game and handle its hardware requirements. What qaulity framerates and graphics card do you have? Darkguerilla 10 Posted February 13, 2011 (edited) I dunno about the rest, but I have and Nvidia 7600 GS I think and I get an average of about 10 but it varys depending on the mission. If there is lots of stuff I get lag galore, but if its just me playing around I get decent FPS. Haven't tested it recently. Daniel 0 Posted February 13, 2011 What do you consider a decent FPS? 10 certainly isn't. You should really be aiming for a steady 30 to avoid any slow-down related glitches.
