Jan.K 10 Posted January 17, 2011 (edited) Had this happend to me in a few servers today, all works as it should until i die once, then i can run around in E town (Domination) shot around, and its lie im not realy there, AI dont do anything to me. Other players can see me typing ect. Anyone have a clue? Thx in advance I know what you are writing about I had the same thing happening over and over again. The A.I. need too long to react. Its ridiculous quite often...I received only friendly fire for liek an hour.The cause is simple...the server is stressed to much and is saving cycles on A.I. The onyl thing thats helps is to restart, but thats refused most of the time. Soem Seerver Admins stil think that lots and lots of A.I. macke a interestign game...its the opposite since there are no servers on this planet to have good gameplay with lots of A.I. in ArmA II. You can dance in front of A.I. after soem time..they ned too long to react...you can also just walk around enemy tanks untill youre killed by another player with a hellfire...the A.I. wont react at all or needs like 1-2 minutes to shoot at you. Its like s shooting gallery, no real challenge but the players go on depite the A.I. is braindead. Warfare and Domination both suffer from it, but Warfare a bit less since you can play it with fewer server controlled A.I. without maign the game pointless. Jan.K 10 Posted January 21, 2011 Going to bump this, tried again today, 3 diff servers. reinstalled game, same thing, seems like the only server i can play on is the one im hiring myself grom alpha-networks. Wierd stuff :/ Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
