zulu1 145 Posted January 5, 2011 I have been hosting games on my local computer using an old DSL modem with no problems. I have upgraded to a new ADSL 2/2x modem/router. I guess there is something built into the router that prevents external internet connections. I've read something about port forwarding and p2p software solutions. I'd rather not run additional software, so if some one could give me a brief step by step run down of how to configure the router to accomplish port forwarding to allow players to connect with my game.
