WikChi 10 Posted January 4, 2011 Ive just bought ARMA 2 off Sprocket (Combinied Ops) OA updated to 157 fine but Vanilla ARMA 2 updater (game ver currently at 105) from filefront mirror wont update/recognise the game. I am on my third install of this game and it still wont update, i get this message 'ArmA 2 is not installed on your computer or installation is corrupted '
demonized 20 Posted January 4, 2011 When installing follow this: 1: Install Arma2 then run game once in a mission and save, exit. 2: Install OA in same folder as Arma 2 (important) 3: Install any dlc you have bought (BAF, PMC) 4: Run patch 1.57. Done
WikChi 10 Posted January 4, 2011 (edited) When installing follow this:2: Install OA in same folder as Arma 2 (important) Ok it seems to be working, would have been good if the game did this automatically instead of making me reinstall 4 times and trawling through forums, food for bought BI! avengerzx 10 Posted January 4, 2011 You didn't use sprocket installer when you purchased the game from sprocket?? Sprocket installer is the main thing that causes the issue anyway and did it fixed for you?
lazerath 10 Posted January 23, 2011 You didn't use sprocket installer when you purchased the game from sprocket??Sprocket installer is the main thing that causes the issue anyway and did it fixed for you? *Sorry* for resurrecting a dead thread but I ran across this issue tonight with a reinstall and could not remember what the fix was. Through searching the forum I came across the fix again (From when I experienced this awhile ago with the first install of Combined Ops from Sprocket (purchased it for a family member). You (Avengerzx) posted the fix for it and I wanted to say a quick Thanks ;-) I looked in the stickies but this fix wasn't in there.. I think it should be ;-) :D
