*sigh*, ok. Go to the third person view, press page up then press 0 on your numpad. There's your normal walk.

?

I haven't tried it. But all my controls are custom.

So what would Page Up and Num0 do normally?

Page up makes you go crouch and 0ins does the same thing as 'v', it brings the eye to the scope. But when you move forward, ull see that ur walking.

Who cares.

Stop whining about such minor features. What's next ? You'll want the soldiers to occasionally ask for permission to go and piss ?

Shut up.

Yeah buts an animation of the guy moving slowly forward with the rifle shouldered vs a guy walking with the gun on his hip. It's kinda a halfway inbetween a slung weapon and one that is ready to fire. I know it's nitpicking and not needed, just clarifying what the thread starter was pointing out.

Well the new animation is very importent. Soldiers cannot run all the time, and it wouldn't be wise to carry your weapon on your back in enemy terrain!

Sure it might seem irrelavent in multiplayer, but it would be very useful in single player and it would greatly boost realism, and isn't that what we always want

tounge.gif

So BIS i ask you please insert the feature, it can't be that hard to implant, after all, you did that with the sneak animation (version 1.10).

Their animations are based on motion capturing. They have to book several hours in a studio to sample the new movements and imcorporate them in the game.

Just a side note: in an interview they said that they have an inhouse mocap studio and that they did all the work themselves. Besides, if they had the animations ready earlier they surely still have them today. I don't care too much though, there are more importrant things that could be implemented smile.gif

Exactly, because they already had it in earlier versions of flashpoint, it counld't be that difficult to implant. It would be very handy. And it would be more realistic. If BIS inserted that animation, the enemy (or your team) could finnaly patrol without having to run all the time, or keep there weapon on the back all the time.

Yeah, well that was because they didn't get permission from AstonMartin to put it ingame (copyright).
