1.56 updating problem.

Well, I here's the situation. My Operation Arrowhead is at 1.52. I decided to update it to 1.56. So I download that patch and attempt to install it. (Arma 2 is already at 1.08 Just in case you want to know) So I then Start Up Combined Operations and it still shows 1.52. I just attempt to reinstall the patch. Nothing happens. Then I reinstall Arrowhead All over again. Nothing. I tried reinstalling the Patch. Still 1.52! I've never had any big problems like this before. Help would be very appreciated and thanks in advance.

u need to update ur game to 1.55 first b4 u install 1.56 patch... read the read me file...

Sorry for double posting but I ran into another problem. I downloaded 1.55 patch and when I attempted to install it it said: 1.56 already updated and cannot go to a more recent version or something along the lines of that. Now Im very confused :confused:

That is wrong. :rolleyes:

EDIT - more info...

1.56 updates Arma 2 to 1.08, OA to 1.56, and BAF to 1.02. It is the ONLY patch you need at the moment.

I think the problem he encounter is after applying the 1.56 patch, the in game menu bottom right corner still shows 1.52.7XXXX or something

To apply CO, make sure all the content (Dta, AddOns, Common) and .exe files are in the same folder

i.e C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2

If those files are not together, I could only suggest to uninstall either one (A2 or OA) and reinstall to the same folder above. Hope that fixed your CO Launch.
