Cinematic Camera

Recommended Posts

How do i switch to the cinematic camera mode just like in the trailers. I'm making a video soon and i want an overview of the town without being in a chopper.

add "player exec"camera.sqs" in the init line of your unit. Works also with triggers.

If you want to get rid of those black stripes : "showCinemaborder false"

There's also this little button :

Certified virus free, no need to be afraid it wont bite you and if it does just report to a moderator (happens when we forgot to feed it for awhile...)

Thanks for the quick reply. BTW I'm making a video using ARMA 2:OA Demo around the Overture 1812 soundtrack

So you mean that i add player exec"camera.sqs" in my unit, so i start with the cinematic cam?

as for the trigger, I run towards the trigger, then switch to cam mode?

also i go to free cam immediately right? and i can control the cam right?

Remember to right click to record the scene you like when you're using the camera.sqs.

you can use "w""a""s""d" to move your camera.

Remember to save your game at user mission and then switch the game to windows by pressing alt+tab.

create a .sqs file in your mission folder you saved right before and press ctrl+v to copy the code to your file.

So this is the key point, you can visit biwiki for more info about intro making.

At last, you can repeat the method above again and again to switch different scene in your intro. Btw, don't forget to add ~5 to your file between each four lines, otherwise your intro will be in a mass!lol.

Thanks everybody. I have one more question though. I've seen videos on youtube about different actions in ARMA 2. Dancing, talking and stuff like that. Can you guys please give me a list of the codes and their functions? I would very much appreciate it.
