IceFire 0 Posted May 7, 2002 My roomate was like, "Hey look, I got this new game" several months ago. He just bought it because he saw it on the rack in the store and thought it looked cool. He let me try it. He lost interest and has been letting me borrow it ever since. I think he forgot all about it.
madmike 0 Posted May 7, 2002 I saw a very early preview of ofp in PC GAMER UK which got me interested striaght away. Also in that issue there was a small booklet from codemasters which had upcoming releases with some nice pictures of a BMP driving down a track and one of a tractor. Since then I got every PC Gamer mag that had something about ofp. BTW PC GAMER UK gave it a good score of 89% I think and it got game of the month and I still think its recommended? Also I got the demo from PC GAMER UK and played it over and over again then went out and bought ofp and the rest is history

ale2999 0 Posted May 8, 2002 well I think I have the kewlest story: I first heard about flashhpoint 2 years ago, do u know when they have those previews of games that will come out in a magazine. but I wasn t interested because I was expecting Team Fortress 2. Well I forgot of the game, but I use to frequent the forum of F22 total air war ( I was and am an hardcore fan of the latter) at simhq.com and ppl started stopping to post. I was very mad and angry and I started asking all of them where they where at: their answer was sorry, but I found this really kool game, its called Flashpoint. I ignore the game for 2 more weeks but the repetition in the forum of that name (Flashpoint) made me go dl the demo. As I didnt have cable, I went to my friends house and dl the game. I didnt even have time to play for 1 hour and I was already on love. Well any time I had time I would go to my friends house to play flashpoint (he hated and hates the game btw). When it came out in the US and Canada, I talked my rich hardcore gamer friend to buy it as I was low on cash. He bought it and h8ed the game becasue he died too much. So I racked up all I had and bought it out of him. The game never left me, Its just too much. I thank God every day for Bis and Flashpoint. I remember I was really envious of Euros casue they had the game earlier. I forgot, on my old pc it took 5 min to save a game and 10 min to load, I upgraded just to play the game propery and got cable
