Any video guides on how to install Arma 2 mods?

Ive been dying to use mods in arma 2 but i have no idea how to use them. There are some vids on youtube but i dont know if theyre up to date and i just get lost half way through the vids. Also does my Arma 2 file have to be in the Program Files section for them to work because i always see people with it there. And what about the mods without the "keys"? how do i use those?

Also talk to me like im a retard in computers. I dont understand all those .pbo crap and whatever. I do have winrar (or something like that) though.

I'd go for using the Arma II Launcher if you are really having a problem.
