arma2 and steam OA combined?

I got a ARMA2 dvdand bought OA off steam

so how can I get combined operations?

seems really funny that both programs dont see each other and im not about to buy a combined operations dvd!

there gotta be a patch out there somewhere?

Like all expansions or DLC on Steam, you cannot officially combine them with versions bought from other retailers. However, in this special case, you might find the answer to your problem here.

A2 and OA can be officially combined from any release zipper5

so that statement of Yours is wrong ...

the DLC behaviour is different because STEAM must see the original product to be owned before allowing order on such DLC ...

Indeed, I know that Dwarden, and I mentioned it in my post:

However, in this special case, you might find the answer to your problem here.

But in the part before that I was simply stating that for most other games with expansions, you cannot combine them. We're just lucky that you developed a method for us to use with Arma 2 and OA. :p
