Fox '09 14 Posted September 21, 2010 hey guys, as my modeler works on a bdu uniform from scratch,,, i was wondering how and if weight automation works and how to use it. Also , is it reliable? ie not too many weighting issues
STALKERGB 6 Posted September 21, 2010 (edited) Well from what I have heard, it doesn't work great, IIRC Cameron McDonald used it for something he was working on and had strange arm animation even though it was on a BIS model (again IIRC). Not too sure how to use it off the top of my head, give me a sec and I'll go turn my main computer on and have a look (on laptop atm). EDIT: Just had a look at it and i think i was thinking bout copy weights, had a quick go at getting it to do anything but couldnt see to get any weights to apply to the model... Fox '09 14 Posted September 23, 2010 had the same problem. hopefully i can get this figured out before the model is done :) if it doesnt work well, ok , but I'm sure BI doesn't manually assign selections to most things . there has to be a 'easy' way

Thats doesn't help but I doubt thats my main problem with it lol
