Cali 10 Posted September 10, 2010 Sorry for my probably silly question, but I searched an answer in the forum for a long time yesterday and couldn't get it in the current threads. For a multiplayer mission, in the lobby where all the playable units are present, my group names are kind of "1-1-A" ; "1-1-F", which is pretty ugly. How can I put real names ("team alpha" by example) (I would prefer a script) ? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
CarlGustaffa 4 Posted September 10, 2010 You can give the units names and IDs that correspond to i.e. Alpha. You can give the group a groupID so that it is Alpha, but for this, only after the game is started. I don't think there is any way of renaming the initial group names of 1-1-A etc. The best you can do is make sure all you Alpha members gets the 1-1-A designation, all Bravo gets the Bravo designation etc. Not as flexible as we want it, but it does the trick. A-SUICIDAL 11 Posted September 25, 2010 Yeah. I was on a server and they had additional description text next to the player role names. I really want to add this to my mission. I have 12 slots in my 12 man coop mission. the first 6 slots are US Army and the 2nd 6 slots are British. What I want to do is have it say something like.. for example "Rifleman (US)" and then for British soldier "Rifleman (BAF)". I'm trying to wrap up my mission and there are all these little things that I am trying to resolve and this is one of them. I got a bunch of Brit friends that keep joining when I host and they love playing as BAF and they keep hopping into the top 6 slots completely unaware that the bottom 6 slots are BAF soldiers.
