gossamersolid 155 Posted September 8, 2010 So since we were told to do banning and admin work through BattlEye, is there in-Game BE commands? It's kinda harsh to alt-tab and use a command line application to ban somebody.

gossamersolid 155 Posted September 8, 2010 Those are for the rcon aren't they. That post doesn't even explain how the commands are used ingame. It doesn't say how you log into the admin and I'm pretty sure if I just type the word BAN into chat it wouldn't do anything.
Zipper5 74 Posted September 8, 2010 If it's ingame you probably have to put a # at the start, just like voting an admin and such.

The '-' is only used for listing here. You can either enter them via BE RCon or in-game using "#beserver [command]" (if logged in as admin), for example "#beserver ban 11". Also, keep in mind that the player # used here is the one listed by BE's "players" command. Edited September 8, 2010 by Mosh it's now disabled
Hud Dorph 22 Posted September 8, 2010 "#beserver [command]" (if logged in as admin), for example "#beserver ban 11". But isnt the whole point NOT to be logged in as admin by simply not setting a pwd in your server.cfg ??
$able 2 Posted September 8, 2010 The #beserver command has been disabled for now, due to the game admin hijacking hack. Another way via #beclient and directly logging in to RCon might be added in the future.

Thanks for the right answer. I hope BIS fixes the damn admin system soon, I hate having to alt-tab to ban somebody because the ingame one is insecure and can be easily bypassed.
