newbie-having trouble trouble with k toggle compass

Playing original game with no patches installed just, installed yesterday everything is running well but my k function button for compass displaying isn't working tried assigning different keys nothing seems to work. Haven't been able to find anyone with similar issues or whether patch is needed. Any hints from users with similar issues would be appreciated. thanks

You have to Patch your game, especially if you want to play with

addons and mods, patch your game to at least 1.14

get this patch first 1.08

then get patch 1.14

you can get the other ones if you want but are not necessary.

With a game like Arma and even Arma 2 there are alot of things that are fixed in

the game via patches, thats why patches are created in the first place, if you still

get issues after patching the game then be sure to come to the forums here and then

do a search first that is relevent to your issue and then if nothing found

then post a topic asking for help, but use a descriptive title dont use titles with I need help.

Please do use the search function, you wouldn't believe who else has

had or has the same issues as you.
