Hoaah 10 Posted August 9, 2010 This is the code: PBO prefix originals (= 3 PBOs): ca\plants2\bush ca\plants2\clutter ca\plants2\misc files in bush plants pbo: examplebush.p3d data\examplebush.paa files in bush clutter pbo: exampleclutter.p3d data\exampleclutter.paa My pbo prefix: = 1 PBO ca\plants2 files in 1 plants.pbo bush\examplebush.p3d bush\data\examplebush.paa clutter\exampleclutter.p3d clutter\data\exampleclutter.paa Will this work? In my opinion it should.
STALKERGB 6 Posted August 9, 2010 hmm, I can't say for certain but i guess that you might have issues with filepaths for the models/textures if you did that. Although the method you suggest appears to have the same pathnames... MAybe the issue would come from something trying to reference say, "brush\examplebrush.p3d" rather than "plants2\brush\examplebrush.p3d" Still it might work, I dunno if BIS have a reason for having done it like they have. bushlurker 46 Posted August 9, 2010 That should work fine... As far as I can remember, the actual Arma 2 "plants2.pbo" contains separate folders for bush, clutter, tree, etc, plus a $PBOPREFIX$ which reads "ca\plants2"... I'd suggest a quick unpbo of plants2 just to make sure I'm right on that... assuming I am, then its actually in the structure you want anyway... I'm pretty sure Beton packaged our Replacement pack differently so each veg type was independant and modular, it doesnt need to be that way... B
Snake Man 407 Posted August 9, 2010 My pbo prefix: = 1 PBOca\plants2 Will this work? In my opinion it should. No. You can't use ca namespace, its BIS namespace. Make your own and use that.

But what I wanted to achieve in short is all plant things in one pbo, instead of having five of them. Thank you!

A MAJOR no-no normally, but it's OK in this case SnakeMan - it's for a vegetation replacement pack - designed to overwrite default CA stuff on load...
