Empty vehicles and civilians look similar

Hello,

both, empty vehicles and civilians share the same colour in Operation Arrowhead.

I fail to disguse a empty hatchback from a civilian one.

Can we change the colors to the old values again or adjusting it?

?? What is the difference between an "empty" hatchback and a "civilian" one?

The difference is that an empty one has no driver included, and will therefore just sit there until someone gets in. The civilian one has a civilian driver in, which makes it more lethal than several dozen armed opponents.
