Buzz_Fledderjohn 0 Posted August 8, 2010 Hello everybody, I thought I'd bump this thread for an update. Today our new website went live. A lot of changes have been made compared to our old website. Of course the new design (hopefully :)) looks better, but finding information should now be a lot easier. Server info and gameplay guides etc used to be scattered throughout the entire forum, but now every bit of info can easily be found on the website. Ease of use and newbie-friendliness was our biggest priority. ;) Head on over to Tangodown.nl to see the result. Questions and feedback are always welcome. Furthermore, a couple of things have changed since the previous update (in this topic): we now have two Operation Arrowhead servers we regularly use, one of them being the DFF / TDNL server. Of course, we still also have an ArmA 2 server. All three servers contain plenty of missions you can choose from. :) Have fun.

Buzz_Fledderjohn 0 Posted May 29, 2011 Video: Conclusion of Operation Chainbreaker campaign New video! The footage below (shot and edited by Zoog) shows TDNL playing the final mission of the Operation Chainbreaker campaign. Mission: to arrest Kardal al Sharif, AKA Jackpot (pic), a corrupt CEO of Shnell oil industries who finances the Takiban and Takistani Army. One of the most wanted men of Takistan. The coalition forces, including TDNL, have been chasing him for months and it was time to capture him once and for all. During Phase 5 of Chainbreaker TDNL managed to capture one of Jackpot's SUVs. In it was a laptop that contained a lead to his location, the southern airbase, the last major Takistani stronghold. He had plans to flee the country along with a big group of Takistani soldiers. The team were to lay an ambush on his escape route near the border and return him to British-owned FOB Sharpe alive. I played Kardal al Sharif, with the AI under my control (~30 men). It was pretty nerve-wracking to sit in the convoy, being driven down the escape route, and then hearing everybody open up on my bodyguards. Bullet cracks all around me. At one point in the video you can see me. So how did the mission / campaign end? Just watch. Enjoy! l2pL18zX-lI&hd=1 Subscribe to our channel PRO-Ops update So, the Beta PRO-Ops are now officially over. What's next? Well, obviously we will keep developing and playing them. The biggest difference between the beta and the 'official' PRO-Ops is that they are now invitation-based. A squad within our normal ArmA team, so to speak. So for those of you who like to get a little bit more serious and tactical, you can join the PRO-Ops team. Joining is pretty easy, you need to have the right mindset and participate in basic training so you know the basic tactics we use. For more info on PRO-Ops read our wiki. We're recruiting! We are always on the lookout for mature Dutch-speaking people who are looking for a nice, fun bunch of people to play ArmA with. Whether you prefer light-hearted gaming sessions or serious tactical gaming, we've got something for everybody. And keep in mind, ArmA is not the only game we play (though 90% of the time we do). Every player is free to organize gaming sessions with other TDNL members. Our philosophy is: playing ArmA should be a nice mix between fun and serious gaming. Tactics and teamwork are very important things for us, but we are not a mil-sim squad! If you like what you see, head on over to Tangodown.nl to sign up. All the info you need can be found there. Don't forget to introduce yourself in our forums!

Video: Operation Dutch Approach vmWKTllLaI0 Video: Operation Hidden Moon (Lingor map) We have received Intel that the lingor army is in possession of blueprints to make nuclear weapons. To delay the process we have three tasks to be accomplished. The first thing is to destroy some pumpjacks. Hopefully some guards from compound Helvetia will come to check out what happened. That gives us the opportunity to take out the guards with an ambush. In the compound Helvetia is our last objective, eliminate Vladimir Yaraslav. Vladimir Yaroslav is one of the experts on nuclear weapons and since the failed elimination of last month he is now one of the most secured persons. aXHJc5ePwhI smYzJHL3vIU Video: Trainingsmission movement and patrols pC-fQ7nTgd0 Video: Operation Act of Valor (Lingor map) Tangodown received a re-task from from NATO base in Saudi Arabia south of Iraq. The international community urges Zargabad to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) but that has not happend as of yet. Zargabad leaders threaten the rest of the world for a nuclear attack. The latest IAEA report has made clear that Zargabad is a very dangerous threat and that the installation should be disabled.
