Reinstall error

I am trying to reinstall Arma 2 from my original disk, but I am getting an error that says:

Source: D:\ARMA2\AddOns\characters2.pbo

Destination: C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\AddOns\characters2.pbo

Stays on this file for a very long time, graphics screen cycles to new picture, and progress bar moves 3 or 4 segments, back and forth, then gives me this error:

File copy error (CRC does not match).

C:\Programfiles\bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\AddOns\chatarters2.pbo

Then only gives my the option to click OK. Then says Setup has encountered an error. Application may not work properly. And only gives me the option to click OK. Then exits, with no Bohemia files on my PC.

What do I do?

Xp version, original DvD disk

Thanks anyway.

The problem seemed to resolve itself after a good disk cleaning. Maybe had a thumb print on it or something.
