It's nice to see the alternative to the F-22 since the YF-23 was actually stealthier and faster than the YF-22. And it is just a slick looking jet! It's kind of unfortunate they never installed the smaller engine nacelle housings but I think, especially for a game, it gives them a pretty cool profile and you're work on it looks great as always!

It might have been asked before but I'm throwing my request in for an ARMA 3 F-14D Tomcat. I know there's an older ARMA 2 version (and I don't own ARMA 2,) but a brand new one would be simply amazing. If it's considered too old for the timeline for the modmaker, the alternative could be the Advanced Super Tomcat that was canceled in favor of the Super Hornet. http://foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com/top-gun-day-special-the-super-tomcat-that-was-never-bu-1575814142 That article details the upgrades they were planning on utilizing, like CFT and LERX to help improve it's performance. Might be interesting to see a slightly more modern take on the old Turkey bird.

Considering all the work they've put into the Black Wasp and the feature updates they have planned in addition to having other projects, with also building a carrier being a ton of work in itself, I'd say "soon" is extremely optimistic. That said, the mod team of the Nimitz is actively reworking Old Salty so I'm sure that once the rework is done John and Saul will have a fix for the current carrier issue (or maybe one beforehand in a soonish update.) @ John and Saul, this plane in game is lovely. The texture work and detail on the entire aircraft really make it stand out and it's functionality make it a staple for my unit's CAS/CAP operations. Great work and best of luck as a finalist in MANW.

Seeing as the variant that's already modded is the C, this is probably just the Block 50/52+ upgrade with CFT/etc and not the E/F which was developed only for the UAE. (USAF picked up the Strike Eagle instead of the E/F.)

Dezkit, I love your work. I use almost all of your aircraft available on steamworks and make use of them frequently. I'm a huge Tomcat fan and since I don't really have Arma II I can't use the mod from it in Arma 3. Since no one has done the regular F-14....this is the next best thing and a dream come true. Wanted something like this ever since they shot down the Navalized F-22 and decided not to build the Advanced Super Tomcat. I'm grateful and can't wait to see more when you have the time!

I apologize, I meant that Canada needs to dump the F-35 and procure the Advanced Super Hornet instead, not that the F-35 should be dumped all together. Anyways, sorry to derail the thread.

Dreams do come true. Can't wait. Will you be also doing the two seat version? The Navy, as they're really pleased with the Advanced Super Hornet, is probably going to go ahead with it and that they'd be upgrading existing Super Hornets (and Growlers) with the ASH upgrades. Canada really needs to, too. They need to dump the F-35 project and go with Advanced Super Hornets. Less cost for a jet with great range to cover all the land they've got to patrol for NORAD and they'd already be familiar flying it as they aren't as different from legacy Hornets. Less maintenance costs/etc allows them to acquire it, some Growlers if they wanted, and then have money for other developments like UCAVS. They'd also be able to procure more Advanced Super Hornets then F-35s.

Looks amazing, the F/A-18 E/F you guys did is already a core mod for my unit's ARMA 3 experience. I'm excited to see more from this project as it develops! Minor nitpick, as someone has already mentioned the error in tail code (unless that's the intended ship,) the U.S.S. Freedom is an LCS that isn't a carrier capable of housing/launching the F/A-18X. Will be great to see some current squadrons represented in different paint schemes from the U.S. as well as other nations that would upgrade to the Advanced Super Hornet.
