United States Army Special Operations Command MILSIM Community About USASOC: Our Arma 3 MILSIM community is based off of the United States Army Special Operations Command. We base our tactics and procedures are based off first hand experiences from our command staff who are vetted military veterans. We strive to ensure a fun, mature community that is as realistic as possible. We have just recently stood up the community. Our organization does a official operation every weekend, in which our ground forces which are known as rangers in the 3rd Ranger Battalion with the support of our United States Army Special Operations Aviation Command to work together and complete missions. We also hold campaigns in which the actions in each operation determine the next operation. The United States Special Operations Command also offers a Special Forces Operation Detachment Alpha (ODA 7135) for our organizations best of the best. To get into our ODA, you will have to complete a rigorous selection program known as "Special Forces Assessment & Selection" (SFAS). After an application is filled out, you will undergo a "play along" with one or more of our operator. You will undergo an interview and finally a board will convene to determine if you are what we are looking for. We would rather have quality members than quantity. Once accepted you will become a Candidate and attend our Ranger Assessment & Selection Program known as RASP.
