    Range Tables for Mortars

    Since mortars are no fun with the artillery computer, because they are to simple to use and offer no challange I was looking for a decent range table. However, I didn't find anything suitable so I decided to do my own. Keep in mind, the artillery computer can be disabled with the "enableEngineArtillery false;" command. (https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/enableEngineArtillery) 82mm Mortar - Close 100m - 84.25 200m - 78.25 300m - 71.60 400m - 63.45 500m - 45.00 82mm Mortar - Medium 150m - 87.88 200m - 87.15 300m - 85.70 400m - 84.25 500m - 82.80 600m - 81.15 700m - 79.75 800m - 78.25 900m - 76.65 1000m - 75.00 1500m - 60.00 1750m - 45.06 2000m - 45.00 82mm Mortar - Far (Using the function from here) 100m - 89.297 200m - 88.594 300m - 87.890 400m - 87.185 500m - 86.478 600m - 85.769 700m - 85.057 800m - 84.342 900m - 83.624 1000m - 82.901 1100m - 82.174 1200m - 81.442 1300m - 80.704 1400m - 79.959 1500m - 79.207 1600m - 78.448 1700m - 77.679 1800m - 76.901 1900m - 76.113 2000m - 75.313 2100m - 74.500 2200m - 73.673 2300m - 72.830 2400m - 71.971 2500m - 71.092 2600m - 70.191 2700m - 69.267 2800m - 68.315 2900m - 67.332 3000m - 66.314 3100m - 65.255 3200m - 64.255 3300m - 62.984 3400m - 61.751 3500m - 60.432 3600m - 59.002 3700m - 57.424 3800m - 55.629 3900m - 53.483 4000m - 50.593 Tips and Stuff: The 82mm mortar elevation only goes up to 88! You can do more fine adjustments by holding the Shift key. You can get the approximate elevation for distances between the given ones easily with the following: (distance1 elevation + distance2 elevation) / 2 = distance3 elevation. Example: 600m - 81.15 800m - 78.25 700m ≈ (81.15 + 78.25) / 2 ≈ 79.7 As you can see its not far off from the actual number (79.75)

I'm not entirely sure, but if they are part of the national guard its kinda their job to take guns, so they are kinda within the law. And with the stuff at Mukachevo they were fighting criminals, until it turned out that the criminals actually belong to government. I agree with most of what you are saying, but I am kinda guilty of living in a rich society with all benefits at the moment. :) As for nationalism being a crime, I always admired the Germans for having the guts to allow the NPD instead of stepping on freedom, but there's always the swastika being pretty much banned. One thing I always dislike though is calling all countries puppets of the western banks. Yes, the governments are often corrupted, but they are criminals for their own benefit. What was really a puppet government was the old Ukrainian government. Most had extremely close ties to Russia with it even reaching as far as with Medvedchuk, who is still around. The godfather of his daughter is Vladimir Putin. The problem now is that although the old government fled to Russia, you still have these politicians around. And they are not only more loyal to Russia, but they are also highly involved with local criminals and the Mafia. With that out of they way, most people are still criminal for their own benefit, and will go where they see the most money. If for them its suddenly more beneficial to go with the EU for example, they will ditch Russia. But in my opinion that's not really what constitutes a puppet. The master chooses the puppet, not the other way around. And money leaving the country is also because people do it for their own benefit. Banks don't force Russian oligarchs for example to transfer their money to the west. The oligarchs do it to keep their money safe, tax free and invisible for the russian economy. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the fault lies within the corrupt officials and criminals within the country, not the outside.

So these guys are on the side of Lanyo, together with the police. Kinda shows the level of corruption. And I thought Poroshenko wanted to disarm illegal armed gangs...

So there was apparently some kind of shootout between Right Sector and the Mafia, which has ties to the deputy Mikhail Lanyo in Mukachevo. The shootout happened at a sport center owned by Lanyo. RS got into the confrontation on their own behalf, without the approval of the government, meaning it was an illegal move. 2 members of RS died and 4 were wounded. Right Sector had apparently also patrolled the region before, removing illegal casinos and confiscating contraband (Which they possibly cant do because they are not the police?). So basically there is now preparations for a standoff between RS and the government. The locals seem to be on the side of RS. Well at least thats what I got out of it all. At the moment everything is pretty confusing, so I wonder where this is going. http://youtu.be/EeCCG-PMFPU http://youtu.be/Ce9TI3hp_R4 Special Police on the way to Mukachevo The government is still quiet and does not directly blame the incident on right sector. There is only talk about "armed gangs".

I thought the different dates would make it obvious, but I sometimes forget not everybody speaks russian. :D Anyway, the same guy supposedly played a captured right sector member back in Slovyansk. To me those guys actually don't look the same on a second look, but theres this video: Here he says that he did not fight in Maryinka (Because he was buying alcoholic supplies) and that he has no idea about any casualties.

http://youtu.be/gY8dkejkk5Y How long are we still going to believe these videos of "captured" "soldiers"? Or its just total BS propaganda, like all the other countless times. Also he is saying that the army attacked the separatist controlled Maryinka, even though we know it was the other way around, so its more likely that more separatists got captured. http://youtu.be/8oiFSWnG-HE I do not condone this treatment of prisoners btw, but its still worlds better than what we see from the separatists side, like cutting of ears, forcing them to dig their own graves and so on. Its not about responsibility, its about the separatists launching a full scale offensive. There is no risk of escalation, this is the escalation. And if you are really on about responsibility so much, why do you have to make it so dodgy? There is only one side that launched an offensive.
