They disarmed Ukrainians and got russian vehicles?

They are mostly just discussing the passing vehicles, but also saying that Ukrainians definitely don't have vehicles like those (1:51 "Yea, Ukrainian forces definitely don't have those") with the woman adding something about america. They go on complaining about the war, power outages and so on. They later notice that some vehicles drive off the road. At the end the guy says "Don't try your luck (fate)" and everybody collectively says that he should put away the phone. So yeah, its in Ukraine.

It's usually a good idea to read a post first and then ask questions. Well, unless you are saying it was disguised CIA agents, who pretended to be russian, stole the Buk in Kursk, drove with it across Russia to Rostov without being noticed, then over the border, again without being seen and then shot down the plane in cooperation with the separatists and actual russians, while reporting everything to the russians, because their reptilian zionist overlords told them to.

Europe is not an islamic country, of course there won't be such extremism like in some other countries, but there is still a growing number of people who want these things implemented. And why does one need muslim friends to be able to judge what others did? The talk is not about peaceful muslims in general, but Islamists and this kind of radicalism can only be found with Islam these days and I highly doubt anyone here has radical islamists as friends. This whole "Oh, well not all muslims are like this" or "You don't know any muslims, so don't judge" argumentation doesn't bring anything forward. They can pray to Allah, Jesus, Jehova, Trees, Stones, golden lambs as much as they want, nobody cares as long as they don't do any harm, but when even Merkel feels the need to say that this has nothing to do with Islam there is definitely a problem. It shows that people are afraid of offending some religion, because it has everything to do with Islam. It has been done in the name of Islam and it doesn't matter if the majority of Muslims in Europe are peaceful, because it doesn't change the fact that these things happen. There has to bee free speech and self censorship is not the answer. We have to be able to say "Fuck Islam" just like we can say "Fuck Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism and every other sect" without having to fear for your life. Spiegel - Todesflug MH17: Wer warum schoss The Spiegel has published its investigations concerning MH17. Sadly I could find it only in german, but maybe someone can translate it a bit or find it somewhere already in english. They have a ton of videos that I personally haven't seen that show the Buk moving from Kursk with the 53. Airdefense brigade of the RF to Rostov and then to Ukraine and finally to Torez. They also spoke to locals and the separatists, coming to the conclusion that it most likely had to be actual russian soldiers operating the Buk, as Ukraine couldn't physicaly be there and the separatists wouldn't have the required training to operate it. What makes this interesting in contrast to other articles on this, is that they have collected videos of the 3x2 Buk moving all the way from Kursk to Ukraine, got interviews with locals and basically combined all the previous knowledge in order to get to a reasoned conclusion.

What I really love so far is that close gun shots actually sound like they are only a few meters away, not a hundred meters like in some other mods (I won't name, because we have to purely focus on this thread), while the distant sounds sound like they are supposed to as well. I was really impressed when the camera was zooming in on the guy shooting, really nice work! The only weird sound was the grenade explosion, it kinda sounded like dampened thunder. But yeah, gute Arbeit! :D

I'm not complaining about the explosions, they are great, I'm talking about the smoke. When you have a burning tank in Blastcore it's just a big plane wall of dark grey above it, while in vanilla you have animated smoke which looks pretty authentic.

Try blowing up a vehicle in vanilla ArmA and look at the smoke from the fire. To be honest I find it to be much superior to the bland, monotone smoke in Blastcore, which is really sad, as its a big turn off in contrast to the awesome explosions...

I'm sure everybody is already sick of videos, but I think its always nice and useful looking at how other games handle effects. It's amazing what you can get with a few particles and animated textures even on old engines.
