worked for the first moment, but after i tabbed out and in it again runs in 4:3 :(

Hi, I want to make videos with the Matrox uncompressed HD codec and Dxtory. The problem is that the codec only records the HD formats (720 or 1080) I have a 4:3 Monitor and even if the settings in Arma are on 720 and 16:9 the game still runs on 4:3 so the videos are unusable. How can I force the game to run in 16:9?
