  1. Open my game, ArmA has now randomly reset everything. :mad:

    Littearly, It just gave me the marksman DLC notifcation... Which i saw days ago before arma decided now to reset my entire profile

    I spent hours getting my video settings right before etc. Is there any reason arma would even do this??? Nothing changed afaik..

    I guess its gone then? I wonder why this would happen, or if it is a known issue.

    Tried launching with both arma 3 vanilla launcher, game exe and PwS

    Same result

    Guess it overwrote my old profile somehow


  2. Why not keep both Rg-33 Variants? :confused:

    Current one isnt perfect but, Seems awesome enough IMO its worth touching up (simple interior textures or something) and leaving included

    Also like, they can kind of serve different roles I would assume.

    For instance Maybe using the Rg-33 to escort a VIP out of hot city or something

    While using something like the rg-33l to send in a heavily armed EOD squad into some danger zone.


  3. Hopefully you didn't include any stolen or shadily sourced content in your mod this time around..

    And just FYI, probably not a good idea to include a link to check out your animal pack. The download link was taken down because it included content that you had used without permission.

    Also, are you allowed to tamper with those arma 3 models anyway? I am not sure how that works.. but I thought you have to use stuff from the source files.


  4. I went to update arma 3 to the latest version,

    And low and be-fucking hold

    Steam decides to fuck up, somehow

    My arma 3 stops updating.. but doesnt show in the updates list anymore under downloads

    and steam thinks it isn't even installed...

    it shows as not being installed at all on steam. steam gives the option to "install" the game

    But I checked, all 25 gb of my arma 3 game folder is defintley still present, because steam doesnt even think its installed, I cant even verify cache etc.

    Im pretty fucked here, and I dont want to overwrite all my old arma 3 files.. Any suggestions? :(

    Working 100% Perfect (No missing Icons or fucked up menu like I had before)

    (All packed into PBO) Contained in a 7z.

    Instructions:

    • 1) Use 7-Zip or Winrar to extract the .7z Archive

    • 2) Take the "@ACE" folder and the .dll contained in the folder, and extract both to your ArmA 3 Directory.( Disk> Program Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps > ArmA 3)

    • 3) With latest CBA version installed, mount the Add-On on your game, using the game launcher, or PwS or anything else.

    • 4) Enjoy the awesome features of ACE 3 :) You can see the keybinds in the ACE Options menu on your Main Menu.

    Make sure you have the dll in with it tho, from either the source files or CAPTNcaps download

    Not getting any icons on items tho

    Some stuff seems broken,, yet the ace menu works (or at least opens, but seems to be showing all options at once, like: lock, and unlock car, at the same time) and all the medical options show up


  7. i fixed it

    Just use A pbo building program, go to the ACE master source files, find the "main" folder under addons, and then make that aPBO, use the download from CAPTNCAPS, drop the NEW pbo in there (renamed to ace_main) and replace the old MAIN pbo

    That will fix it

    use the latest CBA version

    Im getting missing icon errors, but besides that the code shit seems to be at least partially working so far (there is a ACE options menu in the main screen)

    Interaction menu at least, i can do some shit etc

    Seems mostly functional but im getting some missing XEH init or something or other, I probably have an outdated CBA most likley

  8. Hey guys,

    I am looking to rent a dedi server for arma 3. I don't want to get some shitty server where they sell you some Epoch or Wasteland or Altis life garbage preconfigured thing with X slots off some shady British website, which is about 50% of what I have seen so far. (Some seriously sketch sites lol, shit that looks like its straight out of some east london 12 year olds basement :eek: Seriously :happyagentSmith: watch your credit cards round there boys )

    The intent of the server I want is for it to be used COOP, and me as well as the majority of the people I play with are located in east coast North America.

    I make my own missions, and want a server with FTP access or otherwise to be able to upload addons and missions to it at my own "leisure".

    Im looking for something around 15-20 slots, but I am planning to probably get a 10 slot to start off to ensure i am confident in the host.

    I don't have any sort of experience with renting arma 3 dedicated servers previously, though I do know how they function.

    I would really like to pay as little as possible,(less then 25$/mo) I dont need anything like DDOS protection or anti-hack stuff, (Im doing COOP stuff)

    If anyone knows any good server hosts at fair prices, I would appreciate any recommendations or anecdotes.

  9. I personally, 1000% support the decision from the author the map to be standalone.

    Until there is CUP_terrains with a better system for using a2 assets, at a usable and improved quality, I think that this is defintley the best choice.

    Cant try the new terrain update currently, but im looking forward to it, looks like great work

    For now, standalone maps are really what arma needs.
