The Happy Fun Time Platoon was established in April 2011 on the Total War fansite, Total War Center, following the increasing popularity of ARMA II. Since then, we have enjoyed a steady growth and continue to participate in missions and campaigns created by our talented in-house team. We are an international community comprised of members of all ages. As the name might suggest, we are not a dedicated realism unit. Our focus has never been to create a virtual military experience, but to enjoy ARMA in a relaxed but organised fashion. We enjoy everything the ARMA experience entails, and value teamwork including aspects of actual military doctrine that are applicable to a game environment, but we have no need for unnecessary real-world military bureaucracy or 'realism'. We play to have fun. How to Join Us We welcome anyone who shares our view to join us in our missions. There is no boot camp, recruitment process, or intense preparatory stress test. Simply visit us at the link below, drop a greeting, and join our Steam group. We have regular weekend sessions on Sunday at 1900 GMT / 1300 CST with EU/US sessions during the week.
