Hostile Takeover RP Support Team Application Hostile Takeover, the community that brought you King of the Hill, and now hosts over 20 ArmA servers is looking to develop a support team for an up-and-coming game mode it is creating. The mission will be heavily RP based and roles available span from in-game Moderators to Senior Admins. Applicants must meet the following requirements before applying: • Meet the age requirement of 16+ years. • Be comfortable using TeamSpeak, forum systems and have a good working microphone. • Have sound written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work in small teams and meet deadlines when required. • Desire to learn new skills. In addition, being highly self-motivated and passionate about the ArmA community & Role-Play are welcomed attributes to a candidate. Applicants wishing to achieve a more senior role must display skills in team-leading, micromanagement and organisation. Successful applicants will enjoy: • Being part of a highly enthusiastic and motivated team. • Take on a highly rewarding role in a thriving community. • Develop skills relevant to server hosting and administrative support. • Be provided with the opportunity to have input in an exciting new RP mission. Job descriptions: Senior Admin: Manage the entire support team and each of its members in various manners such as dealing with any issues that have arisen, organise meetings, and representing the team when discussing changes to developers. Admin: Tend to behind the scene issues such as player database, forums and TeamSpeak. Provide assistance to moderators and assure no issues are left unattended. Moderators: Ensure the smooth running of the server on a day-to-day basis. Tasks range from removing troublesome players, answer any queries that players may have, to acting as a mediator in disputes between players. Yes! I do remember a scenario of a similar description which I subscribed to from the Steam Workshop. Don't think I ever got around to playing it though.

I have 8GB. Never had a problem, even when running a dedicated server while playing.

I'll focus on the ethical side of the matter, which I've always stressed, because I'm unfamiliar with the grounds of a legal dispute. I don't believe that Bohemia is in a position where they can't do anything; whether that have chosen to, or are indeed in the process of acting upon, we don't know. There's no doubt in my mind (and many others from what I've read) that there is a serious ethical concern here, I won't explain it again because I'm sure you're already aware. Bohemia should be working with content creators, especially those who have been victim of this event, to ensure that they're doing everything necessary to prevent this kind of incident taking place again. If no action can be taken regarding this incident, rather than ignoring the matter, work should be done to prohibit this taking place again in the future.

While I do agree with your stance on the matter, from the small note that IceBreakr provided, I would be inclined to say that the sender does not represent the A3L team we're discussing here. A member of A3L has already been livestreaming the development of a map, switching to Panthera would be a radical change; besides, asking for permission doesn't seem to be their style ^^ Just my view, without a name, I'm taking a stab in the dark.

Mike, Thanks for the reply, I do hope this is true. However, Tonic also has asked you to remove his work; removing content 'in and when' it suits you still doesn't seem to rectify the situation. If you could also stop referring to people as 'forum warriors'; you've claimed to be conversing in a mature manner, however this is a direct contradiction, and is starting to give me deja-vu.

Try clearing your browser cache, and logging out (and back in) on Bohemia's store. I for one was having this issue shortly after the game was released yesterday, however the problem no longer persists.

I've always been able to edit settings (such as video) while playing a mission. Could it possibly be something specific to that mission file you were playing?
