    MK18 Mod 1

Fair enough. Not sure if it matters, but there are a couple vanilla BIS models in the game utilizing the thumb break with their foregrips. The MXM and the MK14 Mod 1 EBR. While the arm isn't over extended and the wrist isn't being torqued forward, the thumb is off the VFG and more towards the center-line of the bore. Not positive if you can just 'copy and paste' so to speak, animations from one weapon to another. But at least we know that the thumb break, even if just at a basic level, can be done. Though it would be high speed to see the reaction elbow raised and pointing out and the wrist being rolled forward. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2550/4056259324_69f6d7fe79_o.jpg (179 kB)

    MK18 Mod 1

I'm excited for the new update and just had a quick question. The few screenshots that you recently showed off, I noticed that you went with the high-bore thumb break for the reaction hand animation on the vert grip that's attached to 203. Have you replaced all the vertical grip models with this more modernized hand placement? I only ask, because every weapon pack I've downloaded seems to have the reaction hand "chicken choking" their vert grips. It just looks really odd now days, and reminds me of Call of Duty. Which is why I currently favor your AFG models. While the hand is not quite 'c-clamping' the AFG, it's by far the closest I've seen. Would just really like to see all your VFG models stand out from the rest as far as hand placement is concerned as well. RH Pistol pack

Any chance of the pistols getting JSRS support? This is by far the best pistol mod there is for A3. But going from a rifle using JSRS to the handgun using generic sounds, just leaves me wanting more. The pack is great regardless, but would be even better with dynamic sounds.

    J.S.R.S. 2.2 Soundmod

Like I said, it's for my own personal use. I had also seen multiple posts about people editing his sounds on the RHARD thread, and people uploading edits to Armaholic, I don't think that he minds. I'm not attempting to take credit for others hard work. I assure you.

    J.S.R.S. 2.2 Soundmod

Thanks Matosh, that helped quite a bit. My eyes aren't going all crazy now in any case. Do you know if I have to covert the .cpp back into a .bin when I'm finished editing the config?

    J.S.R.S. 2.2 Soundmod

I'm attempting to replace RHARD's MK18 sounds with your MX rifle sounds. They just sound way better with the indoors and outdoors and suppressor effects. I'm looking through RHARD's config.bin file after extracting it with PBO Manager, and it's like looking at another language. I can't for the life of me figure out where to paste the bits that you posted. I might be in over my head since I'm new to all this. It's only for my personal use, just love your sounds and his rifles. Any advice on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

    MK18 Mod 1

I would be interested in hearing what you have done bro. This is by far my favorite weapon addon, and I never minded the unsuppressed sound, but always thought the suppressed sound could be a little better. Further more, have you messed with the reload sounds at all? Because they're almost nonexistent. I feel like I'm reloading something plastic. I'm not sure if the author has ever handled a real carbine, but when that bolt is sent forward, metal smashing against metal, it's pretty dang loud. I own an AR platform in real life, along with PMAG's(they have a different sound when being inserted compared to a US GI mag since they're made of polymer). I would be more than willing to help create some new more realistic reload sounds if anyone else is interested.

    ASDG Joint Rails

Ok, so I downloaded ASDG a while back because my buddies said it was an awesome addon, but I just recently grasped what it was designed for. I've been trying to figure out a way to use some of the attachments from the "RH M4/M16 pack" on the MK18's from the "RHARD Mk18" pack. Specifically the Surefire M952v flashlights (RH_SFM952V, RH_SFM952V_tan). Then if I managed to figured that out, I would be able to make some of the FHQ optics compatible with the "RH M4/M16 pack". Still seems very confusing, but if there's any advice you could give on going about this, it would be much appreciated. Would just love to see those SF lights on those great looking MK18's. Thanks for your time and any help! EDIT: Actually, I think there's a good chance you may have already done this for me. Was just told that ASDG comes with an "opt" folder, which I must have never installed or over looked. If that's the case, thanks for all the help! lol
