  1. I have already modified goblins script go be used as quick, lightweight, halo drop. I have not asked permission to release it, because i know he has worked hard on it and has many great ideas for future releases; however, if goblin would allow a modified release, or if he would release a modified version: a version not requiring a location for the c130 and precise drop points is already possible.
  2. Silola, this is a great achievement. I never used DAC in arma 2, but I have ambition to master it's use in arma 3. I read in a previous post that far away groups, from the player, are limited to the group leader to conserve resources. Can I configure the distance myself?
  3. I love the sounds. I recorded myself and added cool radio effects for my version of your script. If you want the sounds, I will send them to you; they may serve better because there's no music in the background. I am formally requesting fog effects without the mask UI. do you have them saved? if so, pm me. Also, in my version, I made it so you add a marker anywhere on the map named "drop" and that's where you'll jump from. I'm just trying to figure out how to put the random jump height back in. One more thing, with this updated version I should be able to drop a c130 (vqihalo1) on the nimitz, and the crewmaster & jumpmaster should spawn correctly, yes?

  6. in vqi_demondropper i made the following change: _Jumpmaster setposasl [getpos _jumpmaster select 0,getpos _jumpmaster select 1, 18.2]; _crewmaster setposasl [getpos _crewmaster select 0,getpos _jumpmaster select 1, 19.7]; drop the vqihalo1 onto the nimitz at 18.3 elevation and it works.

  9. goblin ive been screwing around with the script. i figured out how to set where i want to drop. i tried using getMarkerpos so i could place a marker on the map for the jump; however, getMarkerpos is 2d. How could i add height?

  16. I can't figure this out guys. I created an HVT snatch and grab mission. The team deploys by boat and primary extract is by boat. I want to add a probability (50%) that the boat may get destroyed after seizing the objective (trigger) and the team would have to extract by foot or heli. My first instinct was to put an unarmed, invisible, blufor soldier on the boat, then add an opfor (with 50% chance of spawn) only equipped with a rpg. This did not work, as i could get the blufor soldier invisible, he took up a slot on the boat, and the opfor rpg would not always target the boat. I know I can do this, I just don't have the editing skills you guys have. Any suggestions on how to get this boat destroyed?

  22. goblin i dont know why, but im getting a bad vehicle type when the mission loads and the mask ui will not come off after landfall. any thoughts? i think placing a marker on map idea for the plane is awesome.

    Shammy I will admit I've switched to SoS since downloading your mod. I didn't know SoS was so good. If you do get the time, can I get a M27 without the opened bipod? I have not stopped using it since I downloaded the mod. I love it.
