Got it to work. Disabled antivirus and firewall. Now will try adding an exception into the firewall. I have BitDefender btw.

Thanks for the link. I have unsubscribed from all workshop content. Since then, I have done multiple game and computer restarts, though it still freezes when I click multiplayer. So I will try disabling antivirus software and see how that goes. Maybe add an exception into the software?

I have a similar problem. My multiplayer will not start. I cant access the lobby. I press multiplayer and then it just crashes...freezes. I have launch options enabled, verified integrity, and even reinstalled the game and still get same problem.
