  1. yes I am, and I just now tried it right before you posted. Disabled Port Scan and DoS Protection and NAT filtering in both modem and router. ---------- Post added at 16:20 ---------- Previous post was at 16:18 ---------- and problem is that I even cant get in to serverbrowser, so it's kinda hard joining a server.
  2. I need to borrow this thread since I can't make my own yet. Hello fellow ArmA fans, I have a "big" problem. Please take time to read the whole post before commenting. After the new update (containing "multiplayer optimalization"++) for Arma 3 here the other day i have not been able to stable get in to the multiplayer serverbrowser nor servers. I own the "Digital Deluxe Edition" pre-ordered through Steam at pre-alpha stage. Singelplayer works just fine, but this is not why I bought the game and built my desktop-computer. I have played 300 hours of Arma 3 since the alpha, and has not encountered any problems until now, and I am really frustrated. It seems that I have tried everything. This is what happends: 1. When I launch the game and press "Play">"Multiplayer" to get to the serverbrowser it freezes, and after a while Windows comes up with "Arma3.exe has stopped working" without any form for information on what's wrong. This happends approx. 3/4 times i try. 2. IF I at all get in to the browser at all and try to connect to a server (any mission or host), Arma3 comes with "Connecting failed" error and brings me back to the serverbrowser. This happends more frequent than nr.1. 3. If I get to connect to a server, Battleye kicks me with "Battleye not responding" and brings me back to server browser. When I connect to the server Battleye initializes and lets me know that i have the latest one and wich version it is and that it is communication OK with the server. This happends as frequent as nr.2. 4. If I get to connect and play without battleye kick, it lets me play for a while (random time) and then the game freezes completely and I have to end the arma3.exe process through task manager. It says in task manager that arma3.exe is "Not responding" This does not happend so frequently, but that is just becouse i rearly get to connect and play. But happends EVERY time i connect to a server. I can't seem to find any crash reports, neather in: "D:\Steam\" or "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 3\", "C:\Users\WayGone\Documents\Arma 3" nor "C:\Users\WayGone\AppData\Local\Arma 3\". Am I looking at the wrong places? This is what I have tried to do to solve the problem: 1. Google.com 2. arma3.com 3. Updated all my drivers. 4. Updated Windows to all the latest. 5. Verified my gamefiles trough Steam. 6. Un- and reinstalled the game. 7. Un- and reinstalled Steam. 8. reinstalled the game again. 9. Verified the gamefiles trough Steam again. 10. Downloaded BEClient.dll directly from Battleye's pages. 11. Deleted the profile files in Documents. 12. Formated the SSD disk Arma 3 and Steam is on. 13. Reinstalled Steam again. 14. Reinstalled the game again. 15. Downloaded BEClient.dll directly from Battleye's pages again. 16. Verified the gamefiles throug Steam yet again. 17. Tried devbuild. 18. Went back to normal build. 19. bistudio.com 20. Tried unsubscribing two content subscriptions from Steam workshop. 21. Tried deleting files in "user/appdata/local/arma3/mpmissioncache/" 22. Un- and reinstalled the game after unsubscribing from Steam workshop content. This is what came up after doing nr.22 in arma3_2014-01-24_16-11-06.rpt Theese are my computer spex: ASUS Sabretooth Z87, Socket-1150 Intel i7-4770K Haswell EVGA GeForce GTX 760Ti 4gb FTW Edition Crucial DDR3 BallistiX Sport 16GB 1600MHz Samsung SSD 840 EVO 120GB OEM (Only for Arma and Steam, not other steamgames though they are at "F:\Steamgames\") Samsung SSD 840 EVO 120GB OEM (Only for my Windows 7 Ultimate x64) Thank for all help i can get. Best regards WayGone
