Thank you! You were both right. I had been running AiA for a multiplayer server I play on. I had deactivated it to play SP. I also went in and cleaned out my saved game file as instructed. I didn't see anything in the Arma3.cfg file until after I had launched the game, looked at what was left over in there...that it wouldn't let me clear...then went back to the Arma3.cfg file and could now see what I couldn't see before. Deleted that and now everything is working fine. Thanks again. I love this game, but it certainly has some weird coding problems, that I'm not savoy enough to figure out on my own. I do ok for an old lady, but some techie things are beyond me.

I just purchased and loaded up all DLC's two days ago. Figured it was time to show some support for the game I love so much. The first time I went to try out the Marksman Showcase, it worked fine. The next time I went back I got this: The only thing I did between the first time and this is I loaded the game through Play withSix to go play some multiplayer. The first game was modded...not problems...the next game was vanilla. Then I want back to single player... this was all within an hour. That's when I got the Missing files message, and not the Marksman Showcase will not play at all. I'm looking for suggestions on how to fix this...replace the missing files etc. I already variefied files through steam, but that didn't fix it.

That was it! Thank you! Someone was helping me get set up for heli training with my controller, deleted my keyboard commands in Cyclic Left and Right. All is good now.

That "screeching" sound is built into the mod. It simulates ears ringing after a loud noise such as near by gunfire, when you discharge your firearm or are within ear damaging distance to an explosive, etc. So when the other fella asked if you were wearing your ear plugs, he meant the ones IN the game. They are in your load out or should be (might have to select them from the crate??) You need to "use" them. That will cut that ear ringing sound down or out. ;) It's realism after all. If you hate it, I'm sure there is a way to shut it off. That's our of my ballpark.

Just recently, not sure why but after the last game update, my steerable parachute no longer steers. I can turn while falling without shute deployed but once the shute deploys, I'm at it's mercy. It's not steerable. I can speed the fall with the W key, slow the fall and keep it steady with the S key, but can not steer right or left. Any suggestions? Yes I've verified the game files, several times and tried turning off and on various mods, to no avail.

That shake hack is making the rounds. I've seen it several times in the last three weeks or so. The first time I saw it, the server admin caught the hacker and perm banned him. It cleared up after the kick and a restart. We've had hackers more than once in the last couple of weeks, come in and run cheat hacks. They were also able to take over the Zues, put markers on everybody and use aim bots, and those shakes, too. Finely had to permanently lock down the server and only allow players by invite.

What timing! I just came back here to report that I discovered the problem. LOL I just found this response in another forum from you to someone else and did just that. It worked. ALL IS WELL! Thanks!!! I must have ticked it when I was going through the multitude of withSIX videos that suggested it. Bad info for Arma noobs like me. ---------- Post added at 00:54 ---------- Previous post was at 00:42 ---------- One thing that may need to be fixed. I was having trouble moving the window around. As it turns out, the Search line is rather large and the nearly the same color as the background so when you click on the 'search' area (most of the upper frame), the window won't respond. I'm suggesting only to make the search bar a little more noticeable, to avoid clicking on it when trying to move the frame or the ability to use Windows framework.

I started to experience a problem when I try to join servers or launch Arma 3 using Play withSIX, in the last two days. Up until this time, it worked fine. Now when I hit "Join"...the game (Arma 3) starts to load...I get the loading graphics...all looks fine, THEN I get this: Play withSIX says I'm in game...even Steam thinks I'm in game but I don't SEE the game...just that. ^ I've been trying to track it down now for two days. I'm about to give up and remove Play withSIX...maybe reinstall it?? Anyone else know whats going on? The game starts up normally if I don't use PwS. I don't know if I have an issue or not...but I keep getting this warning when loading Arma3. I don't know if anything is affected, as the game works...haven't had any real experience yet, using MCC as I need to do some more tutorial reading, but curious what that warning means or if I'm missing a file. ...and, is this error message related? I'm getting it also. Scripts ca\Modules\MP\data\scripts\MPframwork.sqf not found

I figured it out...and it was just me being stupid. :o The right click drop down menue works peachy. The other way in, works fine too. Just needed to locate the proper numbers. The password was and is fine. All is good with the world and this awesome program. Thanks for all your hard work.

I just loaded up Armarize. Everything seems to work GREAT, except when I try to get into the server I play on most of the time. It starts up fine, I put in the server password when asked...then I get "Can not join session. Wrong Password was given". I get out and load the game without Armarize, put in the same password and I get in, so I don't know what the issue is. I'm using Window 7 64bit ArmA 3 (Steam version) :j: Our group is new to Arma. I want to suggest that our members all use this program...but I have to find the solution to this one issue. The server hostname is 509th Tactical 509th.net 173.208.82.226:2302 I'll send you the password in a PM if you need it to figure this issue out. Thanks for any assistance.
