Ok guys, thanks for the reply's so it depends on what who owns the server as to what i will see in there?, so the people i see change what they were wearing owned the server perhaps?

Hey Guys, Im a new player to the arma series (Few Days) and would just like to ask a thing or two if you guys don't mind. I apologize if this is a really simple thing to most. So when i enter co-op multiplayer games and we are in the base before heading out, i have noticed other players changing kit,guns, backpacks, headgear etc from the green boxes in base but when i open the box nothing is in there. As i said im new to the game and really dont understand how this works? Do i need the a mod like the Virtual ammo box to be installed before i can change my gear in other peoples servers?, i know that when i go into the editor i need to write/copy scrips to change gear in my game, just want to know how this works in Co-op/ multiplayer. I understand that when you pick a role before you enter the game that you might have to stick to that type of gun but as i said i have seen others changing all sorts of gear and all i have is whats on me. Hey Guys, Im new to the Arma series and have just picked up Arma 3 on Steam over the weekend, so far im enjoying the game. The one thing i would love to be able to do is have the ability to easily select my load out prior to starting a campaign mission or showcase. I have never used mods before at least not in Arma (Have loaded mods into other games), my question is would VAS be the mod that i am looking for to easily change my load out to what i want before i start a campaign mission or showcase? I had a little play around with the editor on Saturday just to try out a few different weapons and it seamed alot of grief just to try out a new weapon (Writing/copying scripts on a notepad) Just looking for a for a fairly easy way to change load out in single player,showcases, and in the editor if there is such a way :) Thanks guys
