Hey, We are a community that loves tacBF mod. However, its becoming a massive cluster storm of people running free and no team-play. As such our community has decided to take tacBF's work (credits to them), and simply add strict rules, good moderation and a white-listing process. On top of that we have a small basic training program which teaches people how to use TFR, how the missions work, key bindings and much more. We aim to give people a tactical, mature, communicative and team-play experience on RLRP's tacBF server. We would really love to see an environment on tacBF where everyone is tactically working and talking to each other. We are strictly against those who lone-wolf and do not use TFR/teamspeak. We just started up this server after falling in love with the mod, but most of the things that are needed are already in play. Somethings you guys might be wondering: **We will expand the server slots once we get a decent player base going** We also have a few devs who plan to make more mission, bug fix, test and expand as we get players. Age limit is: 17. Is there an interview: No. Any other mods that isn't used by tacBF: No. Server/Teamspeak/Website/App information: Apply to join: http://www.realliferoleplay.com/forum/m/30345410/viewthread/21974689-application-template-read-asap/post/last#last Teamspeak: tscan3.vilayer.com:10011 Website: http://www.realliferoleplay.com/home Server IP: 216.231.140.62:2302 Thanks for reading, we hope to see this go far!

MCC Sandbox 3 - Dynamic mission creating tool for ArmA 3
KingAlmond replied to shay_gman's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Anyone know why this happens: "End of line encountered expCond"? Based off my research it seems to be a compatibility issue with CSE and MCC. Unless I am doing something wrong, not sure what it could be. -
Hey everyone, (Maybe be posted in wrong place, but I honestly don't know where to put it... at this point). Anyways- I have been working on a project with some friends and other people I sought out. The current team has a range of skills that I will describe below. In terms of the project we are working on a custom life mod from scratch. Everything we do, want must be custom made from scratch. Please don't judge just because its a life mod - we are actually trying to do some special things aka take some GTA 5 concepts and a few other things. Team information: We have about 6 modelers --> (2 gun modelers, 2 small objects, 2 building modelers), Most of the modelers aren't familiar with the Arma 3 Engine. We have one texture artist - who we just acquired so he's learning since our other one left. We have 3 web developers (one very skilled). Further, we have 4 graphics artists ( 2 are in college doing it as a major). Lastly, we have 2 main coders. One coded for the US Navy (he is well skilled), another codes/scripts for his college and is majoring in it. He plans to make a social media app as well which he is working on. What am I looking for?We need help. We have been working hard for a month, but we lack well experienced developers. I have tried to recruit some but they seem to not help or join. Any help is welcomed, but we desperately need help in the engineering filed, animation and assistance in any type of coding/scripting. If you wanna help out just reply below and I'll get in contact with you and discuss in more detail. EDIT- I don't know how I forgot this... We also have a really good map developer (my PoV). He learned it over a months time on his own. He is working on two maps one for us and one for the public. EDIT- FYI, We could use modelers and other developers out there...again any help is welcomed :)! Thanks, KingAlmond

Well for those of you contributing ideas, we decided to bring up this: An island that has been ravaged by war/civil war is now barren/desolate, the current army whatever is left is being backed by a western force. The army is to main order at all cost. Civilians on the island are to survive at any cost, and choose any path they wish. Whether it be, 1) survive like a peasant, 2) survive and prosper into something bigger, 3) befriend the army and survive, 4) go against the army and survive you choose. This new idea/concept would have detailed crafting, building, medical and looting system. So it is essentially a life mod combined with dayzish elements, but the life mod & dayz foundations have been picked apart. For example this idea won't have Emts/Cops and it will focus mainly on survival etc. What you guys think? -
Looking for Modelers(experienced) - Arma 3 Community
KingAlmond posted a topic in ARMA 3 - MODELLING - (O2)
Hello guys, Background: I am Jonathan Dufunk a director of a project that aims to do something new for Arma 3. Due to my communities Terms and Conditions I can not disclose much here, but I will try to make it informative. Basically, this project aims to make a revolutionizing life mod for Arma 3. We plan to make our own code/engine, guns, houses, cars and many other things. You may be wondering how is this possible. Bio/team: Well we have about 10 developers. Here is the break down. We have 2 coders, 2 texture artists, 3 graphics designers, 1 web developer, 1 map developer, and lastly 1 engineer/animator. A little bio on some of these guys. Our coders do this for a living, one was in the navy another does this at his university and is currently seeking funding for his personal project. Our texture artists have been texturing on arma and other games for about 2 years now. Graphic designers have attained or are in currently college level education in which they are taking classes in this subject. Map developer has attained college level education and does this in his free time. Web developer is currently in college enrolled in courses to enhance his web knowledge base. Lastly, our engineer is currently in high school learning and taking these courses. So we have a pretty solid team at the moment. However, we lack one crucial skill, a modeler. Objective: We are looking for a modeler who is decently experienced. We require that you know Oxygen 2 & Arma 3 tools & [3d Max or something similar] - for Arma 3 to its fullest extent, proof of any work (2+ pictures or a video) and a few other things. If you are intersted in helping or participating in anyway please read further. Note: The community/mod is currently in pre-alpha state (has been in development for 1 month). Please fill out this quick form when replying or contacting me through any other platforms. (So we know what we are looking at) -------------------- Your name: Age: How long have you been modeling for? Subject of expertise(Cars, items, objects, etc...): -------------------- We really hope someone out there would be willing to use their skills with us, it would be greatly appreciated. You can contact me on the following platforms: Skype: derppppp (please state your forum name here so I know your not a random lol) <--Best method. Email: [email protected] Or just PM me on the forums. Thanks, Jonathan Dufunk KingAlmond -
Looking for Modelers(experienced) - Arma 3 Community
KingAlmond replied to KingAlmond's topic in ARMA 3 - MODELLING - (O2)
Well I mean someone who can get objects in game, apply configs test them, apply substance to the objects as well etc. Atm, our modelers are decent they just don't know the Arma engine so it is slowly us down a lot as they rely on our main coder who isn't superman :(. -

Was busy the last day or so. I tried to add you on steam, it didn't work. Add me, KingAlmond. Also check your PM. ---------- Post added at 00:19 ---------- Previous post was at 00:18 ---------- Well that is a decent plot (familiar to some Takistan Life elements.) Having some type of backstory to the map or mod would point in a good direction I assume. Further, we aren't using Altis :P, we are making our own map :)! -

KingAlmond replied to KingAlmond's topic in ARMA 3 - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Well...we are trying to implement GTA aspects of dynamic things. We want to remove this whole concept of Civ v. Cops and add it more like actual civilian life. Where a civ can choose whatever he wants, have and endgame of ownership and more. Like we have a slight concept of adding stock market, train system and an airport system. We'd have these buy-able by civs - so its not 24/7 kill kill cops. We wanna try to push the standard I guess. Also if this life-mod kicks off nicely, we plan to do more things. We want to make a community that keeps developing for Arma basically, but that is a long shot. ---------- Post added at 23:54 ---------- Previous post was at 23:51 ---------- Eh...the whole survival aspect has been beat to death. I mean we got The Forest, Stranded some sh*t, H1Z1 etc. If anything we will add some survival aspects to the life mod. Ex: In-depth crafting through resources, maybe implement a sh*t and piss animation, and other things. -

Well it ain't bad to me. Would be of nice use to have you on board. Not sure if you require payment or not. We can have a meeting if you wish to continue further as well on TS or something. Maybe at the same time your colleague, Jshock, could attend such a meeting. -

No, I am not taking credit for this project as mine. It is a team effort, everyone will be credited for whatever they may create. It will be released as (Name) Development Team. Based off my knowledge your work looks good. Regarding, payment - it is a choice if you don't want it then so be it :). From my understanding, you basically work together on projects with other people in your TS? If you want to jump on board, I suggest we do a meeting on teamspeak, mine or yours, whichever works. I am best free, Sunday & Monday after 4 PM EST USA(I can check for more days if need be). -

1)Overall progress (15%) 2)Future plans(We released Alpha wasn't very good, but right now Alpha is all about adding content and doing any major fixes that breaks anything. Beta will be about fixing as many bugs as possible that are found and find as many bugs. Then we'd go public.) 3)My role is project director/head etc, whatever you wanna call it - I recruit people, set the overarching goals, pay the money from my own pocket, deal with other issues (PR) and other things. Well we have our team is skilled in different areas than one thing. For example one of our main coders (knows most of the web languages so he helps makes the site when he can). Right now we are running off of pathetic enjin since we just needed it to gather some support. But we recently acquired Xenforo at a cheap price from a friend, and are developing that. Yes there is a playable version but no one plays it, 1) hard to DL, 2) No real community, 3) its Alpha I guess...:/ 4)We have free time, bored and just wanna try to offer the Arma players something new if possible. Features list: 1) Overall mission file (coding aspect)* 1 big script, handful of small scripts. 2) Custom brand new map --> height = 65% ; sat= 65% ; mask= 40% ; config= 50% ; towns/cities/hideouts =25% ; clutter= 40% ; layers/textures= 40% 3) Melee weapons* (very few) 4) Custom pistols/rifles etc* 3 pistols , taser , m16 5) Cars* (A lot need to be tested and tweaked.) 6) Clothing 7) Accessory clothing (hats/mask) 8) Other misc items (trash cans/traffic items/other things)* (I prob missed a few but that is what I got at the moment) Well our modelers can model but they struggle to get their objects in game, thrown on configs, add geometry/substance to large objects. However, our coders are more than capable of doing everything except adding geometry, but they have lives, codes and do other things. (You can only work so hard sadly). So I started looking for someone who would only take objects and basically do the last 10% of the job. Two of them have been looking into it but they are a bit turned off from trying to animate. Well the team was built like this for ex: a modeler makes an object and gives it to a texturer who applies the texturers. And we brought them on board for the reason they are willing to learn more developing skills than just being artists. Hopefully that sorts some things out. -

Yes at this point pay is involved. It depends on how skilled you are, and what number value you ask for. (And obviously some other details) -

They are using this: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?167618-RH-M4-M16-pack&highlight=RobertHammer ---- RH's terms of use basically ---> http://gyazo.com/a3e92a136d03f1df5669888366e85c3f Do not redistribute without perm--isn't that what they did by putting it on their server? Plus they breached EULA and made $$, before BI requested it to be changed, they admitted this themselves so it breaks the monetary gains aspect as well. Go here: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?184772-Legal-violations-by-A3L-Arma-3-life&p=2815104&viewfull=1#post2815104 scroll down to part C. Self explanatory. Just one example.
